How to Enter Sports Gear, Clothing + Shoes

1. Select the category.

  • SPORT EQUIPMENT
  • SPORT FOOTWEAR (see KIDS' SHOES for how to enter sports shoes in MyCM)

2. Select the category/size:

We have divided up sports gear into two categories and many sizes/categories.
  • Athletic wear is organized by size (age) -- not by sport -- under the category SPORT EQUIPMENT​. This is so that customers can look at all the athletic wear that is available in their child's size. Boys' and girls' athletic wear is grouped together.
  • Sports shoes are organized by shoe size -- not by sport -- in its own category SPORT FOOTWEAR. See KIDS' SHOES to find out how to enter soccer cleats, water shoes, ballet slippers, etc. in MyCM.
  • All other sports gear is organized by sport type in the category SPORT EQUIPMENT. See the appropriate subcategories below:

3. Write good descriptions.

  • Write the brand name and type of item in the 1st description line. 
  • For athletic wear, follow the rules for describing children's clothing. Since we have girls' and boys' items together, it is a good idea to write boy or girl in the description.
  • Write the item's size in the 2nd description line.  People need to know the size of skis and poles, helmets, life jackets, bikes, etc.
