Volunteer Info 

Volunteers get to shop at both the regular and half-price pre-sales!
At the regular pre-sale on Friday evening, volunteers shop before the sellers.
​The half-price pre-sale on Saturday evening is for volunteers ONLY.
ANYONE can sign up to be a volunteer -- you do not have to be a seller to help out at the sale.  
Volunteers sign up for one or more 3-hour shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
​of the sale weekend (11-14 September 2025).
Great Volunteer Benefits
* Sellers who volunteer earn an extra 5% of their sales, for a total of 75%!!

* Sellers who work 3 or more shifts can sell more items than the others -- up to 200 items!

* Volunteers get 2 tickets to the pre-sale on Friday evening, 12 September 2025 and can shop before the sellers!
  • Work 2+ shifts, and shop from 18.30 - 21.30. 
  • Work 1 shift, and shop from 19.00 - 21.30.
  • Sellers start shopping at 20.00.

* Volunteers also get 1 ticket per 3-hour shift worked to the half-price pre-sale on Saturday evening, 13 September 2025.  This pre-sale is for volunteers only (volunteers who work multiple shifts can bring along guests).

Volunteer responsibilities include... 
  • setting up the sale equipment
  • inspecting items  
  • checking in sellers  
  • helping sellers carry in and place items 
  • working as cashiers & cashier assistants during the sale hours 
  • hanging up clothing & organizing items  
  • working at the café
  • providing security  
  • "coat/bag check" during the sale  
  • sorting unsold items at the end of the sale 
  • cleaning up 
NOTE: Most of the duties involve being on your feet and carrying/lifting items (some light, some heavy). If you would like to help out but have concerns, please send us an email and we can figure out a solution!
How to Sign Up
  1. If you do not have one from before, you need to create a user account with My Consignment Manager (MyCM)--our web-based system for managing our sale.  Click here to create an account on My Consignment Manager.  If you have an account from before, login and follow the prompts.
  2. Login to view the available shifts (available from 16 June 2025 at 20.00).  Click the shift(s) you'd like to work.  The deadline to select or cancel your shift(s) is Sunday, 7 September 2025 at 20.00.  Sign up early for the best selection!
  3. You will receive an email confirmation of your shift(s).  You can also view your shift(s) in MyCM. 
Picking Up Your Pre-Sale Tickets
  • Sellers receive their pre-sale tickets when they check in their sale items on the Friday of the sale weekend.  
  • Volunteers (non-sellers) receive their tickets when they come for their shifts, or by showing up 10 minutes prior to their pre-sale entry time.

On The Day of Your Shift:
  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes
  • Bring a snack and drink.
  • Arrive 10 minutes prior to your shift so you can put away your things and find out what you need to do.​
